Hi. My name’s John Cant and I set-up redaka to help people translate the text on images efficiently.

I’ve worked in e-commerce & software for 10 years and used to run another business called Rising Sun Commerce which helps brands sell in Japan. Many of our customers wanted a reliable and easy way of creating their content in Japanese. I realised that it wasn’t just people wanting to sell products in Japan who needed this service but many other people too. That’s how redaka came about.

I’m based in Hull, UK. I love to travel and lived in Japan for 5 years. I love running, dancing and playing & watching football.
