FAQs
How does the text removal work?
We use Google’s optical character recognition (OCR) tool to recognise the text in an image. It’s exactly the same technology that Google uses in their own tools like Google Lens so you can be sure that it’s robust and accurate.
What types of images do you support?
We currently support png, jpg, jpeg & webp images. Let us know if you’d like us to support other formats too.
How will my images be returned?
Images are returned as .jpg files.
They are returned with the same name as the input image.
If the image you upload is in the same folder as your “downloads” folder then the image may have a suffix such as (1) applied by your computer’s operating system.
Feedback on the naming is welcome so please Let us know if you’d like something else to happen.
Can you provide me with a psd version with the text as a layer?
Yes – Use the download as psd button from the edit screen. Fonts aren’t downloaded so download and install any fonts you need from google fonts.
Do you offer a “done for you” service?
Yes – We can edit your images for you. Order here: https://redaka.co/image-translation-service/
What’s in your product roadmap?
Here’s what our list looks like:
- Adding the ability to import images from an Amazon product page.
- Making an API version available
- Improving the font matching.
- Ability to save formatting of text boxes across multiple images (for translating the same image into multiple languages).
- Add more user preferences so you can have more control on your circumstances
- Allowing user to upload fonts
